We are NOT a kennel! We are a step above the rest!

Again, we are NOT a kennel! No concrete floors or cages here! Your pup will be in a well-kept home and treated as one of the family. What's more, your pup won't be stressed by the noise and hustle and bustle found at a regular kennel facility. And did I mention your pup won't come home smelling like a kennel either?

What does boarding look like at A Step Above and Beyond, LLC? 

• No kennels! We ONLY crate in a crate you provide and only if it's needed.
• Lots of love and attention for your pup.
• Hours of play time per day (socialization with our pup and the occasional visiting pup, walks, fetch, etc.).
• Feeding schedules per your pup's routine.
• Constant access to fresh water.
• Secured fenced in yard in quiet neighborhood.
• Medications administered at no extra charge (please provide vet paperwork & instructions).
• Daily updates and photos/videos.

What sets us apart from a traditional kennel? 

• Did we mention NO KENNELS??! Your pup will NOT be kept in a kennel all day. If you pup is crate trained and prefers to sleep in a crate at night please bring it for their stay.
• We do not double book! – only one dog from a family is boarded at a time.
• Your pup is treated like a member of our family.
• Your pup will NOT be left alone overnight or during the day. Either myself or my husband are home at all times when we have a boarder. 
• Your pup will have access to all the furniture.

Boarding Requirements:

All dogs over 1 year of age must be spayed or neutered.

Please provide the following prior to boarding: 

• Vet paperwork confirming your dog(s) are up to date on vaccines.
• Required vaccines include: 
  • Rabies
  • Distemper
  • Kennel Cough (Highly Recommended)

Payment is due in full upon pick up.
